Join CCR and City University of New York School of Law’s CLEAR Project for oral argument in Tanvir v. Lynch, our case challenging the FBI’s abuse of the No-Fly List to coerce law-abiding American Muslims into spying on their religious communities.
The argument will be on the government’s motion to dismiss the case, and will be held before District Judge Ronnie Abrams. We suggest arriving 30 minutes early in order to go through security and bringing a current form of identification.
This case is part of CCR’s broader effort to end warrantless government surveillance of civilians, particularly those who are being targeted on the basis of their Muslim identity or activism. You can learn more by visiting our Government Surveillance and Muslim Profiling issue pages.
**Please note that the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse is not the building where most of the district court judges are located, but rather the building for the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit**
