On May 8, 2017, CCR joined a coalition of human rights advocates calling on the U.S. Government to demosntrate leadership on human rights in the Americans, focusing on constructive engagement with the Inter American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and the Organization of American States (OAS). The letter, sent to Secretary Tillerson, also underlines the support for the IACHR and its recommendations.
